Highly recommend John and his services. He has top notch technology at a private facility that really allows you to focus in on what you are trying to accomplish. Johns got a great blend of positive energy and patience. He is highly perceptive and explains his thoughts in a way that are easy to understand and compartmentalize. After 2 lessons my only regret is not doing this sooner. Thanks John.

Today was my second Lesson with John at Forest City Golf Academy. Firstly, John is an easy going, yet energized, enthusiastic instructor with decades of experience to truly find your personalized path to golf greatness. I was so pleasantly surprised to watch the recap video he emailed me a few hours after the session, complete with live narration and breakdown of improvements to capitalize on. Having this video as a constant visual reference will ensure my practice stays on point. With this instant boost in personal confidence and noticeable improvements between sessions, I cannot wait to hit the links this year! 10/10

I've had several lessons with John and have played many rounds with him. John is very perceptive and he quickly finds the key fundamental aspects of your golf swing that needs repair. Combined with his high tech teaching studio, fully equipped with a screen simulator, cameras, and mirrors, John efficiently provides remedy, the drills and steps necessary for an immediate correction of your swing mechanics. John is incredibly professional, experienced, and patient and has perfected his pedagogy, making him a well rounded instructor capable of teaching any age group. Definitely 5 stars for this cat!!!

John Timbrell never does anything halfway. With his life-long love of golf, his award winning skill and his desire to help others who love the game and want to play their best, John has recently ventured professionally into the coaching side of golf. John is the consummate golf professional. He has perfected every detail of his swing, yet he still further hones his skills by taking ongoing lessons from the best trainers in golf. Then you add John’s positive, friendly and encouraging personality and you get one of the best golf instructors anywhere! It is a joy to be taught by John and he has helped me tremendously with my golf game. Highly recommended.

The patience John has for someone as unathletic as myself has been a blessing and he has introduced me to concepts that I can rely on for a more consistant swing. Now I actually step up to the ball and feel like I am going to have a nice strike rather than my dreaded worm-burners or hooks.
